Promec Energy was established in 1995 by a group of Thai engineering and contracting professionals with extensive experience in hydromechanical and electromechanical equipment erection and installation.
The company started with the hydromechanical and electrical equipment installations of The Theun-Hinboun Hydropower Project located in Laos PDR, a 210 MW joint venture between the Government of Laos PDR., Thailand, and Nordic Countries. Since then Promec Energy has completed a number of projects in Thailand and Laos PDR., working in cooperation with multi-national companies such as ABB, Kvaener, JRC, MC, MELCO, and MHI.
Even though still quite a young company, Promec Energy has the resources and the capability to undertake projects of up to USD 50 million. Our local knowledge and our professionalism works in harmony with the technical expertise of the multi-national companies, as our track record to date has proven.
